Make Room, Inc. Announces Diane Tomb To Join Board

Washington, D.C.— Make Room, Inc., the nation’s leading organization working to address the rental housing crisis in America, announced today that Diane Tomb, Executive Director of the National Rental Home Council (NRHC), will join its board.

Tomb is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur who founded DC-based public affairs and business advisory firm Tomb & Associates LLC in 2003. From 2011–2013, she served as President & CEO of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), where she represented members on public policy issues before Congress and at the White House. Prior to that, she served as Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs at the Department of Housing and Urban Development and in the White House in both the Reagan and Bush 41 Administrations. She also served as SVP for communications at the Fannie Mae Foundation.

Tomb also serves as a commissioner on the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Commission on Political Reform and is a member of the International Women’s Forum of Washington, DC.
