Membership Opportunities Now Available for Owner-Operators, Service Providers and Academics
The National Rental Home Council (NRHC), the leading trade association representing the single-family rental industry, today announced the addition of Silver Bay Realty Trust Corp. (Silver Bay) as a Steering Member. Silver Bay has joined NRHC under a newly-developed membership structure designed to provide expanded opportunities to owner-operators of varying sizes, service-providers and academic researchers interested in joining NRHC.
Reflecting on this upcoming recruitment effort, NRHC Board President and Invitation Homes CEO John Bartling states, “This is an exciting time for the single-family rental industry. We’ve seen a significant level of growth and a real effort to professionalize what has traditionally been a fragmented marketplace. As more and more Americans are choosing to rent and the single-family rental industry is maturing, the National Rental Home Council is itself growing. Silver Bay is the first owner-operator to join NRHC under the council’s new membership structure. Silver Bay Interim CEO Tom Brock says the company is eager to get involved in NRHC’s work. “NRHC offers an unmatched opportunity to advocate for the single-family rental industry, foster increased understanding of the positive role we play in local communities and work to establish resources and industry best practices that can benefit all of us and our residents,” Brock said.
As part of the its new member drive, NRHC will host a welcome and informational reception at 7:00 PM on Monday, May 16th during the IMN Single Family Rental Investment Forum at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Parties interested in learning more about NRHC are invited to attend.
